Shampoos and Lotions Overload

A co-worker recently asked me what to do with the three boxes of shampoos and lotions that her and her two daughters have collected. I gave her a few options:

1. If there are any that are unopened, donate them. Homeless shelters and many food banks welcome donations.

2. Toss them! She, of course, was reluctant to toss them because of all the money she had spent on them. She saw it as wasted money. However, holding on to them caused clutter and wasted space.

3. Use them one-by-one. Start with the smallest bottles, as you finish one start the next smallest. This way, you not only have a "small victory" but you also get rid of a bottle every few weeks, depending on the size of the bottle. If you use the largest bottle first, it may take months to get rid of one bottle. In the same time frame, you could use several smaller bottles, reducing clutter quicker.

Until you use all of your bottles, do NOT buy more!
